We’re excited to finally announce the second What the Truck?! event to take place this summer:
What: What the Truck?!, Edmonton’s food truck extravaganza
When: Friday, August 3, 2012
Where: Victoria Promenade (100 Avenue, south of Jasper and 121 Street – very limited parking, so walk, bike, or ride transit!)
Time: 5-9pm
We like to move the events around as much as possible, and in the process highlight locations in Edmonton that we think should be more prominent. In this case, we’d like to serve up a river valley view with your food, from one of our favourite vantage points in the city.
Most importantly, we have a great line-up of trucks:
- Battista’s Calzones
- Carnival Cravings
- Drift
- Eva Sweet
- Filistix
- The Lingnan
- Molly’s Eats
- Nomad
- Smokehouse BBQ
- The Act
We wouldn’t have been able to offer this event on our own – thanks to the Oliver Community League for stepping up and supporting us from the beginning. We know that good partners are hard to find, so we really appreciate their help!
We will be posting the menu next week, so keep your eyes peeled for further details!
What a great location for a terrific view. I go by there almost every day and will attend this event… as long as trucks aren’t on the bike path.
