Food Trucks in the City: March 2014

Spring is coming! You know what that means – food trucks will be on a street near you in no time:

It looks like Smokehouse BBQ will be handing out free sandwiches downtown on March 19, 2014.
Check out Drift and Smokehouse BBQ at the upcoming Edmonton Home & Garden Show, March 20-23, 2014 at the Edmonton Expo Centre.
In other food truck-related news, Avenue Edmonton released their list of Best Food Trucks. Congratulations to Drift, Sailin’ On and The Act for the accolades!
The Tomato also released their second annual Top 100 Best Things to Eat in Edmonton. It was a great to see a number of food truck dishes make the list, including Sailin’ On’s coconut bacon, Drift’s pork belly sandwich, Little Village Food Truck’s falafels and the Local Omnivore‘s bacon and egg sandwich.
