Why did you start a food truck?
Food trucks are fun and totally different from traditional restaurants. We started The Hop because we wanted to have fun at work as because we are different.
What kind of food do you serve?
Burgers, Fries, Shakes and some tasty frozen treats.
Who can we see on the truck?
Sean, Megan, some friends and family who help out when required.
Where will you be serving?
Mostly in Leduc but we are expanding our horizons.
What makes your truck unique?
We are the only truck, as far as I know, that has fused the fifties with a food truck. At The Hop you’ll hear oldies music, you’ll eat old style burgers and drink old style shakes. The fries are alright too.
Country that inspires you the most (related to food)?
English and French.
What do you hope to see or get out of the 2015 season?
To have more fun than we did last year and to be different from other food establishments in Edmonton.
