Venue Information
While Churchill Square is a popular location for events, we want to remind everyone that bikes, skateboards, rollerblades and smoking are all not permitted in Churchill Square. There will be some seating on the tiered area next to Tix on the Square, as well as some green space and a few tables and chairs available alongside 99th Street. You can also sit in the plaza outside City Hall! We encourage you to bring your blankets, or collapsible picnic chairs if you’re looking to set up a meeting spot for you and your friends.
There will be bathrooms, an ATM and St. John’s Ambulance staff onsite all near the southwest corner of the sitemap. As well, your furry four-legged friends ARE allowed in Churchill Square, but must remain on-leash (and of course, you must clean up after them).
With such warm weather, our fingers are crossed that we will see the fountains at City Hall on one more time this year!
Transportation & Parking
There is quite a bit of construction in the area, so your best bet for parking will be the Library parkade or at Edmonton City Centre. It’s also a beautiful day for public transit, and the Churchill LRT station is immediately below the event grounds!
If you’d prefer to Uber, we will be offering new users their first ride free, up to $20 to or from What The Truck.
